The dept of Genopath at Supratech is a perfect blend of excellence in clinical diagnostics and cutting edge research to facilitate effective and personalized medicine. The department currently is divided into the division of Molecular Genetics and The division of Cytogenetics. Supratechs relentless persevereance towards specialization and excellence has resulted in the dept of genetics becoming one of the most advanced centers for inherited and cancer genetics throughout India. The Department of Genetics has been instrumental in making Preimplantation Genetic Screening affordable to thousands of patients throughout india by development of novel protocols to provide access to affordable healthcare. It has been a pioneer in bringing down Turn Around times to 24 hours for PGS enabling same cycle transfers thus resulting in a much higher success rate in IVF. Cancer has always been a primary focus of the department. We have pioneered Signaling Cascade based analysis for Cancers where the tumor tissue can be tested for upto 400 genes simultaneously. These tests determine several important factors in a patients disease course ranging from Basic drug sensitivity and drug resistance along with prognosis and chances of metastasis* Cancer genetics is a field that has been growing at an exponential rate with the phenomenal amount of research being conducted in the world today..
