He has over 25 years of experience of in the field of laboratory medicine & pathology in India & overseas while working for academic & leading private organizations. Additionally he shoulders the responsibility as Quality Manager & Lab Safety Officer.
He is primarily responsible for initiating & maintaining various accreditation programs (College of American Pathologists (CAP) & ISO: 15189; 2012 (NABL) in the organization since 2007 through preparation and authorship of documents, establishing & maintaining Quality Systems, Training & Competency Assessment program of the laboratory staff, Laboratory Safety & Infection Control Plan and Participation in Proficiency Testing Program etc.
Actively involved in Laboratory accreditation activities in India as NABL & CAP assessor and as faculty for ISO 15189: 2012 training.
CAREER HISTORY & ACHIEVEMENTS:
He is Working in Histopathology & Cytology, Flow cytometry and Special Hematology in Supratech Laboratory since 2007.
Areas of interest in Histopathology are Dermatopathology; Bone Marrow & lymphoid tissue, bone and soft tissue Pathology; Neuropathology; Female genital & breast Pathology.
Flow cytometry (Lymphoma/Leukemia, Lymph subset & PNH) and Special Hematology (BM examination, Hemostasis, Hemoglobinopathies& Plasma cell proliferative disorders).
Successfully accomplished “Laboratory Assessors Course as per ISO 15189:2012”, organized by NABL, New Delhi in August 2013 at Ahmedabad. Has been auditing laboratories since then as NABL assessor.
Successfully accomplished “International Inspector Certification Program – India” from College of American Pathologists (CAP) on January 13-14 2012 to become qualified CAP inspector.
